Posted: 28 Sep 2011 06:00 AM PDT Outdoor inspired styles still seem to be filtering down into product development, as New Balance is launching a trio of WRC574B. These models are based on the popular 574 models and it has been revamped into a mid cut boot style. Unfortunately these only come in women’s sizes, which means only men with small feet will be able to rock these comfortably. A wide variety of materials are used on the uppers including suede, synthetic leather and cotton canvas to further accentuate the trekking style. All of the sneakers are currently in stock at mita sneakers and select New Balance stores worldwide.

Acapulco Gold – Fall 2011 Collection | Preview Part 2 Posted: 27 Sep 2011 08:00 PM PDT Through much of last week, New York-base clothing label Acapulco Gold provided glimpse of its upcoming Fall 2011 Collection. In what is almost an Acapulco Gold signature, there is that bit of hidden dissemination of angst in each of the design. Such non-conformity like a quiet conflict against “the system”, yet its so subtle most will not see it. All reasons explain the success of Acapulco Gold. Sadly, this collection will see the last of Angry ‘Lo Bear, the AG official mascot, that is till next spring when the bear comes out of hibernation. AG’s design team also hinted more to come once the Fall 2011 Collection is available, officially, something that is about to take place in the coming days.

atmos x adidas Originals ZX8000 G-SNK Posted: 27 Sep 2011 05:00 PM PDT atmos and adidas Originals have joined forces once again on a classic adidas silhouette. This time around it’s the ZX 8000 runner that’s been singled out for a subtle makeover. Similar to the Superstar 80s G-SNK collaborative series, the shoe comes in its original aqua colorway and remains largely unchanged, but if you examine closely you’ll notice the snakeskin texture on the upper that gives the shoe special glow-in-the-dark properties. Click through for additional images, and look for the shoe to release in late October through atmos.

Apple iPhone 5 Announcement – October 4th, 2011 | Confirmed Posted: 27 Sep 2011 01:30 PM PDT In the hyper competitive industry of gadgets and gizmos, its hard to rain on other people’s parade. Just a day before Amazon.com set on announcing its next tablet/e-book reader, the Kindle Fire, Apple found a way to upstage the online retailer with a simple invitation saying “Let’s talk iPhone.” The event will take place at Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California, on Tuesday, October 4th. Most speculations and rumors have pointed to a new iPhone 5 with new form factor, camera, and a more processor(s). Another is the possibility of the purported iPhone 4GS, a cheaper, smaller version of the iPhone 5. The event will be a milestone of another sort, as the first major product announcement without Steve Jobs, who abruptly resigned from his position as Apple’s CEO back in August. Instead, Tim Cook will take his place. Wondering if he will don on the same outfit of black turtleneck, washed denim, and New Balance sneakers that Jobs made famous? Just have to tune in on October 4th to find out.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 – Fake Versions Hit The Market Posted: 27 Sep 2011 12:30 PM PDT Caveat emptor… With a multi-billion dollars market at stake, counterfeiters have been more blatant in their pursues of some quick bucks. Take the yet-to-be-launch Nike Air Yeezy 2, that even without an actual edition to work with, the well oiled forgery assembly line is pumping out dozens at a time. Thanks to this impressive corral by friends at Sneaker News, the obvious imperfections on these Air Yeezy 2 scream out fake. And where there is no factual design to base on, the criminal enterprises behind these comical renditions just improvise. So if you see a deal too good to be true, especially on the Air Yeezy 2, we will suggest that unless you’re Kanye West himself, just walk away from it.
