XLarge x Lowe Alpine – Triplepoint Stretch Parka Posted: 29 Sep 2011 06:00 AM PDT The rainy season is upon us, which means the best way to combat the terrible weather is by zipping up the trusty water proofed outerwear. XLarge is teaming up with Lowe Alpine on a trio of Triplepoint Stretch Parka to help you stay dry. Colorways include Pink, Purple and Black on the ripstop nylon outer shell, contrasted by bright inner linings. Traditional mountain parka styles are used with large pockets located on the chest and ventilation zippers on the under arm, maximizing temperature control. XLarge and Lowe Alpine logo is located above the pockets and these are exclusively available at XLarge stores in Japan and on their online shop. via: hayabusa.bz

addias Originals Stan Smith 80s – Uniblue Posted: 29 Sep 2011 12:51 AM PDT The Stan Smith 80s in the Uniblue colorway, courtesy of adidas Originals, can fulfill the needs of both Stan Smith fans who are always looking to re-up on their favorite sneaker, as well as casual shoppers searching for a new pair of lifestyle kicks that stand out from the pack. And what is about these shoes that distinguish themselves from other low-profile suede sneakers? There’s the unique indigo blue shade, for one, which plays off well against the crimson accents found at the heel tab, laces, and perforations on the quarter panel. Metal eyelets and especially the speed hooks at the top of the eyestay make for decidedly unique details, and the color choice of bone for the midsole is a nice change from typical white. Click through for more looks, then go to Sneakersntuff to nab your own pair.

UNDFTD – Fall 2011 Collection – Delivery 2 | Detailed Look Posted: 28 Sep 2011 07:30 PM PDT In keeping with its fledging retail empire, UNDFTD is ready to launch another collection for Fall 2011. It seems not too long ago that the L.A. base retailer first introduced its Fall 2011 Collection. In fact, it was September 1st to be exact. Though the very fact hardly matters since the demand for its goods is always high. Now with a new store in San Francisco to contend with, plus retail spots in Japan, it will be hard to keep products on shelves. Similar to the product line that came earlier, these additions took their inspirations from sports and UNDFTD’s So-Cal roots. Clean and simple silhouette with equally streamlined graphic and motif, its the perfect definition of what American sportswear is. Undefeated‘s Fall 2011 Collection – Delivery 2 will be available starting this Saturday, October 1st, at all of its retail locations plus its online store. Release Date: October 1st, 2011 (Saturday)

Palladium x Maharishi Tactical Boot Posted: 28 Sep 2011 07:00 PM PDT Palladium has teamed up with British fashion label Maharishi on a pair of Maharishi Tactical Boots. A retooled version of Palladium’s Pampa Tactical model, the boots are crafted with a combination of rubberized leather, ballistic nylon, and Dri-Lex moisture wicking lining. Meanwhile, the back panel of the boot is made with Schoeller-Dynatec material, a complex weave featuring a reflective thread that provides both superior durability and visibility — the fabric reflects back light up to 100 meters with a minimal white light source. Maharishi branding on the interior of the padded collar finish the look. The boots are available now at Palladium and Kitson stores, as well as Palladium’s webstore.

Nik Nowak – “Panzer” Sound Tank | “4,000 Watts Of Pure Hi-Fi Assault” Posted: 28 Sep 2011 06:00 PM PDT It was his dabble with electronic music which led Nik Nowak to his very first auditory installation. More recently, the Berlin-base artist embarked on something even more ambitious than just the usual gallery pieces. A mobile audio platform that he appropriately dubbed “Panzer” or “Tank”. It stated first from Internet bidding of an used Japanese miniature tracked dumper, then led to the installment of all the necessary audio contraptions, Nik Nowak’s sound tank housed a total of four tweeters, six 12-inch drivers, and three 18-inch subwoofers, with the ability to pump out 4,000 watts of pure sound. Faceted and angled for an even coverage, the custom speaker compartment can be raise hydraulically with a flick of the switch. The tank also offers power outlets as well as stations for drum machine, mixer, and synthesizer. Not only is it a show stopper, Nik Nowak’s sound tank will definitely have folks thinking twice when they want you to turn the volume down next time. via: DesignSpotter
