Nike Blazer Mid AB – Maharam TZ Pack Posted: 04 Oct 2011 04:00 AM PDT Nike called on Maharam, a family-run textile company in business for over a century, to dress up its Tier Zero pack of Blazer Mids. HAZE: New Mathematics – Exhibition Recap Posted: 04 Oct 2011 02:00 AM PDT HAZE‘s second solo exhibition for L.A.’s Known Gallery is winding down. His “New Mathematics” installation features 35 paintings and 15 drawings, each of the individual pieces strung together by the overarching theme of negative space vs. positive space viewed through the prism of repeating geometric patterns. It may be far removed from his graffiti roots, but it continues graffiti’s tradition of drawing the eye through compelling lines and design. The exhibition will run through Saturday, October 8th. Sprint Bets $20 Billion On Apple iPhone 5 Posted: 03 Oct 2011 07:30 PM PDT Just hours away from the purported launch of iPhone 5 from Apple, Wall Street Journal dug up an interesting bit of information. In putting itself in the same playing field with the 2 largest wireless service providers, AT&T and Verizon Wireless, Sprint placed an order of 30 million iPhone 5 with Apple to the tune of some $20 billion dollars. For the current #3 service provider in the U.S., that is quite similar to betting the farm, the home, the corporate headquarter… heck, just about the whole company. Even if the newest generation of iPhone becomes a hot seller (and no doubt it will be), another certainty is that Sprint will not profit from the deal till the year 2014. So how about it, T-Mobile? via: WSJ

TSUBO Winslow Boots – Fall 2011 | Available Now Posted: 03 Oct 2011 07:00 PM PDT Striking the balance between heritage and performance can be a tricky circus act. Fortunately, with the experiences TSUBO acquired during the 14 years, that balancing act is pretty much an afterthought these days. Not wanting to depend on its merit solely, designers at TSUBO went on to elaborate what they perfected years ago, the visage of classic style based on contemporary refinements like its Winslow Boots for Fall 2011. Premium leather shaped with baroque accents and hand polished, each upper rested on a dual density PU foam footbed. An EVA midsole and rubber outsole cushion the pressure further for a feel that is more alike to a pair of sneakers than boots. In Dark Grey or Brown, the Winslow Boots are available now through TSUBO retail locations around the globe as well as its online store.
