Boyz II Men Give Touching Speech At MOBOs After Receiving 'Outstanding Contribution To Music' Award

Boyz II Men thanked their fans for supporting them throughout their twenty years together, when they picked up their 'Outstanding Contribution to Music' award at the MOBO Awards last night.

The vocal R&B group celebrated staying together for two decades and gave a touching speech to thank their loyal followers. "First of all we want to thank all of you for supporting us for the twenty years in our career. Europe has been a very very big part of Boyz II Men's history, and we hope that it'll be a very big part of our future."

"It's still a very amazing feeling to know that three guys on the other side of the pond from Philidelphia PA has made it over here to the UK. We thank you so very much for receiving us, loving our music and loving for who we are, are hopefully there'll be another twenty years. We thank you so very much."

The trio followed their speech with a performance of some of their biggest hits including 'I'll Make Love To You' and 'End Of The Road.'

Boyz II Men will be dropping their next studio album Twenty on October 25.

J. Cole Would 'Love' To Do 'Watch The Throne' Project With Drake, Stays Neutral On Jay-Z, Lil Wayne Beef

J. Cole has said that he would do a Watch the Throne style album with Canadian rapper Drake.

The Roc Nation MC who’s sold over 217,000 copies of his album Cole World: The Sideline Story in it’s first week spoke to HipHopWired about who he would like to do a Watch the Throne like collaborative album with and said: “Probably would be Drake definitely...we like those guys [himself and Drake] who I feel like will be around for years to come."

The 26-year-old went on to falsify rumours that he will appear with rapper Nas on Drake’s upcoming Take Care LP adding: “Nah that's not true, that sounds like a great idea though.”

Elsewhere speaking with DJ Absolut, the Work Out star when asked about the contention between rapper Jay-Z and Lil Wayne said: “I don’t really have too much perspective on that. I don’t think that’s a real thing, like a real issue. I don’t even think they both wake up thinking about that situation," he said. "I don’t think it’s about being the better emcee. They both do two different things. Obviously, they’re both great. Jay-Z’s been greater for a longer time, but they both great."

He also confirmed in that interview that he is indeed working a follow up to his bestselling debut LP: “I’m already working on album number two. I’m on tour right now, I’m producing for other artists. It’s coming man. I got a long way to go, plan on being here for a long time."

Russell Simmons & Djimon Hounsou Declare Love For Each Other On Twitter!

Russell Simmons and Djimon Hounsou did the unthinkable yesterday and declared their love for each other on Twitter.

The Def Jam founder shocked fans when he described his ex-wife's new hubby as his "husband." While Kimora and Russell were known to be on friendly terms, it is only now that the public have an idea of just how close they are. The situation begun when Kimora tweeted an video clip to Russell of his two daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee singing happy birthday to their father.

Russell then replied: "Damn Simmons family, u can get in but u can't get out! :-) Welcome @djimonhounsou :-) kenzo RT @Officialkimora: @RevRunWisdom [love] u!"

He then shocked his Twitter followers even further by adding: "I didn't loose a wife kimora, I gained a husband and godson :-). @djimonhounsou and kenzo," he wrote referring to Djimon and Kimora's son.

Djimon then wished him a happy birthday.

Method Man Reveals Dr Dre Snubbed Their Collaboration After Spending Hours Recording In Studio Together

Method Man has revealed that he has never heard from Dr Dre after they recorded a track together in 2002. 

The WuTang Clan member explains how he was asked by Dre to feature on a track, but after spending hours in the studio, he decided not to use it and Meth has not heard from him since. "That night, I was in the studio with him, and Dre, he different," Meth told MTV News.

"He like you to come in, be ready to go... I got a little bit too blowed, and Dre was, 'OK, I want you to rhyme here but then I want you to talk here but then come back into the rhyme in the middle.' I was like, 'Aight Dre, you got it.' It was like five in the morning by that time. I just said, you know what? I'm going to lay this down and if he like it, he like it."

"And I guess not because I ain't never heard the song. And I ain't heard from Dre since," he added.

But Meth reveals that he is not angry that he was snubbed by Dre because he would still like to hook up with him, saying: "I'd definitely work with Dre."

Lily Allen Slams Jessie J For Winning MOBO Awards, Says Her Music Is Not Of 'Black Origin'

Lily Allen has slammed Jessie J for winning four MOBO Awards last night by questioning whether her music is of "black origin."

The 27-year-old - who has now retired from pop music - claimed that she is a fan of Jessie, but said she was not sure she deserved to be in the running for awards. "Now, I love Jessie J as much as the next person how is her music of 'black origin' ? Is it cause she says 'man dem' in her tune?" she wrote.

Jessie has not yet replied or made a comment in regards to the tweet, however, being outspoken as she is will most likely retaliate. 

The 'Price Tag' scooped awards for Best Song, Best Album, Best Newcomer and Best UK Act.

PHOTOS: Rihanna Brings 'Loud' Tour To London's O2 Arena

Last night, Rihanna took her stage show to London’s O2 Arena for the first date of her Loud tour in the UK.

After getting on the London Underground to arrive at the venue located in the south of the capital, the ‘We Found Love’ star packed in a night full of spectacular sets and costumes to please fans for the sold out date.

The tour which started in June, is now in the European leg of its run and sees the 23-year-old performing her biggest hits like 'What’s My Name,' 'S&M,' 'The Only Girl In The World' and 'California King Bed.'

The singer started the night in a shiny blue jacket which she later stripped off to reveal a jewelled bikini, before she delved into old classics like ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘Don’t Stop the Music.’

RiRi later tweeted about the gig: "BEST SHOW EVERRR!!!!"

Frank Ocean Unveils 'Swim Good' Cover Art While London Tour Date Sells Out Within Hours

Frank Ocean has unveiled the cover art for his latest single 'Swim Good,' which features on his Nostalgia, Ultra EP.

The cover art for Frank's second single, sees the singer dressed in an Asian-inspired Samurai robe while immersed under water. 

Frank's release comes as three more dates were added to Frank's mini-tour, which included London and Paris. However, fans hoping to see the Odd Future crooner on stage will be disappointed as tickets for all his shows - including the US dates - have completely sold out.

'Swim Good' will be available digitally on iTunes on October 18.

JoJo Forced To Stop Performing Remix Of Drake's 'Marvin's Room' Due To Young Audience

JoJo has been forced to stop performing an explicit version of her remix of Drake's popular track 'Marvin's Room' because she had young members in the audience. 

The singer wowed the music world when she dropped her explicit version of 'Marvin's Room' which was laced with expletives and sexual innuendos. JoJo recently admitted that she had embraced her new mature style, but has recently been forced to perform a cleaner version. 

"I think after the third show I stopped doing the explicit version of Marvin's Room because I was looking out into the audience and seeing these young girls, some of them as young as seven, eight years old," she told Rap-Up.com.

Explaining that she would feel guilty for performing the x-rated remix, JoJo added: "I could not go back onto my bus and feel good about myself. I couldn't look into the eyes of the mothers and say, 'F**k that new girl.' I felt really bad."

JoJo is gearing up to release her third studio album Jumping Trains.

Chris Brown's Ex Draya Michele: 'I Respect The Way He Bounced Back After Nude Picture Leak'

Chris Brown's ex girlfriend Draya Michele has praised him for the way he has handled various scandals reported in the media, saying she "respects him."

The two dated before he found love with current girlfriend Karrueche Tran, but she explains that there are no hard feelings between them. "He bounces back from any mistake that he does. He has the ability to do that," Draya tols S2S Magazine when asked about his nude photo scandal. 

"Every move he makes is strategically planned out. He knows when to make the right decision and when not to. I give him a lot of respect. I look up to him, and he's really smart," she added.

Since dating Chris Brown and starring in Basketball Wives LA, Draya has received negative backlash. "Certain things they have said, have really effected me and it's affected how I feel - like, how other people view me now."

Lupe Fiasco Will Release DJ Album Under Name 'Soundclash', Plans New Mixtape

Lupe Fiasco has revealed that he and his partner will release a DJ album under the name ‘Soundclash.'

Speaking with Examiner, the rapper also revealed that he plans to release a mixtape before the end of the year.

The 29-year-old will release his collaborative DJ album with his partner Scott and said: “Me and my partner Scott started a DJ collective called Soundclash so we’re working on that album right now and hopefully we’ll have a single out by Halloween and will try and push an album out around that and tour and all that,"

The ‘Lasers’ MC also said: “There’s a Lupe Fiasco mixtape that’s coming which hopefully we’ll have out before the end of the year and that will hopefully lead up to the next Lupe Fiasco album. And that’s really it, just more touring, touring, touring and music, music, music, music.”

The rapper when asked about current favourite artists in Hip-Hop said: “When it comes back to hip-hop I still like Nas and Mos Def and even the newer guys like Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi who can definitely kind of catch my ear and keep my edge sharp I guess.”

Snoop Dogg Family Sitcom Picked Up By NBC

Rap legend Snoop Dogg is to star in a new family-oriented sitcom and it’s been picked up by US TV network NBC.

According to Deadline.com, Snoop has teamed up with veteran producer Don Reo to star in a new multi-camera family sitcom and is to play the leading role of the father in the as-of-yet untitled series.

Don Reo will pen and executive produce the project, while Snoop will also produce alongside Ted Chung . Reo and Snoop previously worked together on the Michael Strahan/Daryl "Chill" Mitchell series 'Brothers,' which featured the ‘Sweat’ MC as a guest star and has previously starred in his own reality series on E! titled Snoop Dogg's Father Hood.

The series is currently without a premiere date.

Nicki Minaj: 'I Was Suicidal After Record Label Rejection'

Nicki Minaj has revealed that she became suicidal after receiving a series of rejections from record labels.

The 'Superbass' singer had a tough journey into the music industry and she reveals for the first time how she almost gave up on everything. "It was one dead end after another," Nicki told Cosmopolitan.

"At [one] point I was like, 'What would happen if I just didn't wake up?' That's how I felt - like maybe I should just take my life," she continued.

Nicki was saved when Lil Wayne took a chance on her and signed her to his Young Money record label.

However, she is now more optimistic about the future and revealed where she hopes to be in a few years time. "I'll have hundreds of millions of dollars. I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys," she said.

She also has aspirations for her personal life, saying: "And will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, will have a bun in the oven."

Tupac's Family: We WILL Sue Anyone Attempting To Distribute Sex Tape

Tupac’s family have said that they will sue anyone who attempts to distribute the recently surfaced Tupac sex tape from 15 years ago.

Speaking to TMZ a spokesperson for Pac's estate firmly said: “We will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape."

Tupac’s estate says that the tape will never see the light of day because there there's no way the sex tape will ever get the proper approval.

Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur is aware of the tape and reportedly told her spokesperson: “Get the legal team ready because [we] will not allow someone to put it out."

According to the celebrity news site, the estate is trying figuring out who is marketing the tape by attempting to identify the individuals who appear on film - including the leading lady, believing one of them might be the culprit.

Kelly Rowland looked every inch a style princess when she arrived back in the UK wearing a red coat teamed with leopard print shoes.

The 'Lay It On Me' took a trip back to her hometown of Miami to have a relaxing few days on the beach before she travelled back to the UK in time for Saturday's live shows. Kelly showed off her amazing figure in a purple two piece bikini which she accompanied with a straw hat and large sunglasses. She laughed and joked around with a friend as they lay on sun loungers.

While Kelly was sunning herself across the pond, fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos was spotted making a trip to the contestants' £6million house in London - possibly to calm their nerves.

The unidentified woman posted a very detailed account of their encounter which read: “I met Kanye West at a private event given by another celebrity. I can’t give much detail for fear that he will know its me.”

Jennifer Lopez may have moved on from estranged Marc Anthony already because she is rumoured to be dating Hollywood actor Jason Statham.

The pair are filming new thriller Parker and were spotted having a "romantic" dinner date last month. While some may think it good news that Jennifer has found happiness, it is bad news for Jason as he is in a long-term relationship with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, meaning he may have cheated on her.

A source revealed details of their dinner date to Star magazine, saying: "Jennifer and Jason had dinner, just the two of them. It's a really romantic restaurant, on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the water, and it's very exclusive. They were really engaged in their conversation and definitely enjoyed being together."

According to the source, the pair even spent time alone in a hotel room. "They were at the hotel for about a week filming scenes and spent a lot of time in a room on the 26th floor... They had room service delivered on several occasions. One time, she ordered fish, fruit bread, a burger... and champagne."

Jennifer and Marc announced their separation in a joint statement in July. Just last month she was also rumoured to be dating Bradley Cooper.

P. Diddy, Lil Wayne & DJ Khaled Slammed For Living In Miami And Not Giving Back To Community

P. Diddy, Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled have been slammed for moving to Miami and not contributing back to the community.

Rapper Uncle Luke is furious that the named rappers live the Miami lifestyle which includes, clubbing, using the beaches and "sleeping with their women" and not doing good deeds for the area. "I've got a message for Lil Wayne, his Cash Money Brothers, DJ Khaled, Puff Daddy and all the rappers from other parts of the country who now live in Miami," Luke told Miami News Times.

"I'm tired of seeing the cats using up our beaches, soaking up our sunshine, taking over the nightclubs, and sleeping with our women without investing anything into our community. I want to know when Lil Wayne is going to do more than show up courtside at the American Airlines Arena," he continued.

While some may find Luke's comments comical, he insists that he is serious and has even given the rappers a deadline to leave the city. "This freeloading and mooching off my city has got to stop... I'm giving them a deadline. They got until January 1. If I don't see them giving back to the Magic City, I'm gonna have their Miami cards revoked."

T.I. Responds To Critics Who Say He Should Not Have Partied After Prison Release

T.I. has responded to critics who have blasted him for partying after being released from prison, saying that he put himself at risk of getting into a fight.

The rapper was released from a halfway house last week and celebrated with a homecoming party that was hosted by friend P. Diddy. However, he worried fans when reports emerged that Diddy had gotten into an argument with another party-goer, and Tip had to break up the fight. 

As a result of the incident, fans and media outlets have said that Tip put himself in danger of getting involved in a fight and subsequently being sent back to prison. Responding to the criticism on Twitter, T.I. wrote: "Quick question to Rap Radar and Cypher sounds & whoever else felt I shouldn't have celebrated my return, why NOT?!?!?!? Didn't haters celebrate when I left."

He added: "FYI in addition to parties I also attended my two sons football games, my oldest daughters first concert, and took my kids to the awards. Whats the big DEAL?"

T.I is currently said to be focusing on recording new music in addition to filming his new reality show.
