Finally for this evening, last but not least, is the Nike Zoom KD IV “Nerf“. With only a handful, quite literally, of retailers to offer them tomorrow morning, these colorful renditions of childhood favorites will be among the most difficult, as well as the most sought after, sneakers this year. Line-ups already appeared in some places even though temperature is dipping close to the freezing point along the mid and eastern part of U.S. Such are the devotions of sneaker heads. At one time a China exclusive design, in part as a "thank you" gesture to LeBron James‘ Chinese fans, Nike and Nike Basketball will release the Greater China edition of the LeBron 9 tomorrow at select retailers nationwide. Also known as “Fire Lion”, a mythical creature from Chinese lore, its icy blue appearance might be counter intuitive to many at first. But if you think for a moment, back to those mundane chemistry classes, then you know that blue flame actually burns at a higher if not the highest temperature. The first LeBron signature to combine second-generation Flywire and Hyperfuse, along with Max Air 180 heel unit and Zoom Air at the forefoot, LeBron 9 is the perfect arsenal in LeBron James’ armory this season. The Nike LeBron 9 Greater China Edition will be available starting tomorrow at Nike Basketball retailers like Mr. R Sports in Miami.

Trivia: Which Jordan Brand sneaker got Tinker Hatfield inducted at the prestigious National Design Triennial back in 2000. Here is a hint, that very same design will be re-release again tomorrow. Its the Air Jordan XIV. Also dubbed as the “Last Shot” when Michael Jordan wore them for his last NBA (not counting his later return with the Washington Wizards) and NBA Championship outing, the XIV took its form when Hatfield saw Jordan’s Ferrari. Hence, the yellow Jumpman medallion in reference to Ferrari‘s Prancing Horse. It wouldn’t be too surprising if these made it out of the starting gates like a Thoroughbred tomorrow. Basketball player Chris Paul can finally breathe a sigh of relief. A week before the already delayed NBA season is able to start, the 26-year-old will officially be on Los Angeles Clippers‘ roster. This after a week of dramatic behind-the-door negotiations that had Paul, at one point, going to the Knicks, then Lakers, before NBA administers approved his trade to the Clippers. With the dealings and counter-offerings behind him, Paul is quick to adjust to his home on the West Coast, in part thanks to Jordan Brand, which already prepared a new set of Jordan CP3.V in his new home team colorway of red and white. Often viewed like “step-child” within all of Los Angeles’ sports entities, Paul, along with Blake Griffin, the first NBA Draft pick for 2009, might just lead the team to forefront this season. via: Yahoo! Art world’s l’enfant terrible is making headline once again. Always a provocateur, Banksy unveiled his new sculpture, Cardinal Sin, at Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, England. A tile mosaic strategically placed on a replica bust of a cardinal, its a visual protest on the disturbing child abuse scandals that have swept through the Catholic Church in recent years, much like portrayal of criminals on the TV news. In a sardonic statement, Banksy added “I’m never sure who deserves to be put on a pedestal or crushed under one.”. Never the one to mince words, the artist stated during a brief interview with the BBC that “…the statue? I guess you could call it a Christmas present. At this time of year it’s easy to forget the true meaning of Christianity – the lies, the corruption, the abuse.” Walker Art Gallery
