DQM – Leather & Brass Keychain Posted: 29 Dec 2011 06:00 AM PST DQM has created a multipurpose keychain for those who like to use wallet chains or hang keys on a carabiner. The Leather & Brass Keychain is a classic design that will slowly age over time. The body is constructed from rich brown, full grain leather material which is embossed with the iconic DQM script logo on one side and New York City on the other. Brass details are fitted on each end of the keychain, with one side featuring a medium sized loop while a clip loop is fitted on the opposite end. It can be used as a standalone keychain, however it can also be hooked onto a wallet chain or on the belt loop of your pants. Head over to the DQM store or visit their online shop to grab the keychain. DQM

Posted: 29 Dec 2011 05:00 AM PST In the past, Nixon watches were designed to fulfill the casual watch market, with bold designs and wide array of color to choose from. Their latest release however shows a more sophisticated style that could possibly aim for a more formal audience. The Steelcat still retains the rugged aesthetics, yet its details are refined to show hint of elegance. The large chronograph timepiece is run by a Swiss quartz movement for precision, protected by a stainless steel casing. Two versions are prepared in an all black colorway and silver/black color combination, with both styles featuring a black, silicone wrist band. These can be found at Nixon dealers around the globe or at Nixon online shop on ZOZOTOWN.

visvim – Lamina Corduroy 20L Backpack Posted: 29 Dec 2011 04:00 AM PST visvim rarely creates a new backpack design, since its 20L backpack was well thought out when it was first released. The latest backpack for this season is the Lamina Corduroy 20L backpack, constructed from Konbu, a baked nylon material also known as Lamina. On the exterior, corduroy fabrics soften up the aesthetic accented by brown leather details. Premium quality chromexcel leather from Horween is sewn on the bottom of the bag to protect it from general wear. A special laptop compartment on the inside fits up to 15″ notebooks and RiRi zippers are fitted to ensure smooth operation each time. These bags are currently available at visvim stores and dealers worldwide, or head over to UNION in Los Angeles. UNION LA

Paul Smith For Leica – Vintage Striped Leather Camera Case Posted: 29 Dec 2011 02:00 AM PST Leica cameras are becoming a camera of choice for the budding photographers of the current generation, yet its accessories range may be a little on the conservative side. Paul Smith is here to shake up the monotony by offering his take on the classic camera case. A Bathing Ape – Year of the Dragon Pack Posted: 29 Dec 2011 12:30 AM PST Yes, there is only three days left until 2012 and while some are on a nice vacation, many are working away until the weekend. A Bathing Ape has been working hard preparing for the New Year, getting ready to launch the Year of the Dragon Pack very soon. Although there is a slight difference in timing between the Japanese and Chinese zodiac calender, the year 2012 is known as the year of the dragon. For those who believe in the age old superstition, the dragon is said to bring in power, strength and good luck. As the tradition with A Bathing Ape, two versions of the Year of the Dragon t-shirts are created showing off dragon inspired graphics on the front. Both of these t-shirts will be on sale early January 2012 at A Bathing Ape store near you.

Biomega Copenhagen – Chainless Commuter Bike Posted: 28 Dec 2011 11:00 PM PST Shaft-driven bikes have been around for over 100 years, but they’ve never looked this good. Yet, for those familiar with the Copenhagen-based Biomega, we have come to expect nothing less. With designs that include bikes with bamboo frames and others born from collaborations with world-renowned industrial designers, Biomega’s newest project is equally impressive. The Biomega Copenhagen was designed with both the fundamentals of an urban commuter and the attention to detail needed to fabricate an sleek aluminum frame. This shaft and belt-driven bike makes commuting in dress clothes less risky because there are no chains, grease or gear cassettes to make things messy. And with 8 Shimano-tuned gears pushed by an internal hub and front and back disc brakes, you’ll have all the power you’ll need to get up all the hills and race down the other side. via: Pocket-Lint Take a detailed look at the Biomega Copenhagen from stem to wheel nuts after the jump.

Nike LeBron 9 – Watch The Throne | Detailed Look 2 Posted: 28 Dec 2011 10:00 PM PST These new images provide the best look yet at the uber-exclusive “Watch the Throne” edition of the Nike LeBron 9, created by Nike Basketball to commemorate Kanye and Jay-Z’s landmark album of the same name. The shoe is strikingly designed with a black base accented with flashes of gold at the Swoosh, heel and tongue, but the two features that send the sneaker over the top are the lushly florid pattern on the lining and laces, as well as the oversized “WTT” gold lace jewels. Both are obviously inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s album artwork, which is in turn reminiscent of the designer’s Resort 2012 collection for Givenchy. An icy outsole is the proverbial icing on the cake. via: Stickie213

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke – “The Gift” By 21 Mercer | Detailed Look Posted: 28 Dec 2011 08:30 PM PST After the mayhem last week over the release of Air Jordan XI Retro Concord, it is only natural for Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer to do something much more subtle as a follow-up. Introducing “The Gift”, a special Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke created for the very purpose of thanking the store’s customers and supporters. The preliminary design concepts were drafted first by Iz Mateo, the Lead Design Consultant at 21 Mercer, and Gianni Mele, a sneaker aficionado with a penchant for good design and the winner of this year’s Nike Sportswear iD Royale Contest. The two men came to an unique design approach by drawing all of the inspirational aspects during the holiday season. From present wrapping to holiday treats, gathering of love ones, dinner among family, fireplace chats, and more… Then, to reiterate these emotions into components for the Air Force 1 Bespoke, but with a twist. Because both Mateo and Mele wanted each wearer to be reminded with their own memories of the holiday season, they left their imprints on the final design as ambiguous as possible. So rather than a Bespoke designed by someone else, wearer of “The Gift” By 21 Mercer can truly call their pair their own. For a chance to win yourself a pair, simply follow 21 Mercer Twitter feed at @21_Mercer. No purchases are necessary, just heed to the store’s Tweet daily for instruction on how to win a pair. With four pairs in total up for grab, the contest will end by the week’s end. Photography: Poe/Freshness

The Hundreds – Spring 2012 Collection Lookbook Posted: 28 Dec 2011 08:00 PM PST L.A.’s The Hundreds presents its Spring 2012 Collection Lookbook. A low-profile aesthetic infused with a subtle color palette is the overarching theme of the collection, with conspicuous branding and primary hues limited to hoodies and snapback caps. Otherwise, the assortment is classically laid back, featuring menswear essentials like an oxford button-down, denim shirt, crewneck sweatshirt, lightweight parka and chino shorts and pants. If the Mayan calendar does in fact foretell the end of days in the coming year, these duds will help you stay cool even as you face impending doom. Look for the Spring 2012 line to drop at Hundreds flagships and retailers in early 2012.
