Its one thing to arrive in style, say in a Lamborghini Gallardo, but most would opt to arrive in both style and comfort, like the Mercedes-Benz Vito Modified Luxury Van. Created by the Bulgaria-base tuner VILNER, the modified Mercedes-Benz Vito 120 CDI adds a level of sophistication and luxury to the otherwise lowly van. Appointed with Alcantara, Nappa leather, and plenty of genuine wood trims, the interior also includes a 19-inch LCD, a mini fridge, and a set of four automatically adjustable seats with leg rest. Because passenger comfort is in direct correspondence to the driver in front, VILNER also replaced the standard seating with ones from Mercedes CL-Class. Since Mercedes-Benz Vito is only available in Europe thus far, no words on availability this side of the Atlantic yet. As one of Japan’s oldest shoe companies, Onitsuka Tiger has an extensive product history to draw from. The brand has reached far back into its archive for its latest release, the refashioned Teikyu tennis shoe from the early 1970s. Lightweight and featuring a classic low top lace-up profile, the shoe is adorned with decorative stitching on the quarter panel and a white rubber toe cap for reinforced durability. It’s available in either black or beige colorways, the former crafted from leather with white contrast stitching, the latter carrying a tonal upper in a combination of leather and suede. Vulcanized rubber outsole and logo heel tab round out the details. Both colorways of the Teikyu OG LE are available for pre-order through mita sneakers.

With just days away from the start of North American International Auto Show, press relations have started the routine peppering of previews and leaks to car enthusiasts worldwide. However, this 2012 Dodge Charger Blacktop isn’t in that category. While it is a show car, its going to a completely different trade show, the International Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, in Las Vegas. A demonstration vehicle on steroid, the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 powered Dodge Charger Blacktop has 370 ponies on tap at anytime. And now thanks to Beats by Dr. Dre, with its nine speakers and one subwoofer in the trunk, the car will have concert-like acoustic on tap too. Quipped with the Uconnect Touch 8.4-inch touchscreen LCD and a 12-channel amplifier that will act as the control unit for the car’s integrated audio components, the special offering will be an option starting this year when purchasing a new 2012 Dodge Charger.

Made with expedition-strength TPE fabric laminate, the bag is water resistant and features a main compartment with padded laptop sleeve, as well as zippered document pocket, stash pocket and removable organizer. The Pritchard from VANS OTW turns one year old in Spring 2012, and the brand is celebrating the milestone with the release of four new colorways in four different material stories: navy in nubuck, castlerock in monochromatic waxed canvas, brown in shag suede and black in open canvas. Each features a dress shoe silhouette enhanced with an EVA foot bed that sits on a waffle tread rubber outsole for maximum support and comfort. | MADE – BMW Guggenheim Lab in Art Basel Miami | Video Posted: 06 Jan 2012 04:00 PM PST
The crew at Berlin’s MADE filed a dispatch from Art Basel Miami Beach centered around the BMW Guggenheim Lab, a “mobile laboratory” traveling to nine cities across the world over six years. In a video interview with Maria Nicanor, the curator for the Berlin Lab describes the project as a combination community center, think tank and gathering space, all developed to explore how we live in cities — not just the infrastructure of cities, but the people who live there and how improvements can be made in urban living. After a successful run in New York City, the BMW Guggenheim Lab is set to open in Berlin in spring 2012, followed by Mumbai. Check out the video after the click.

One of the easiest decisions for the designers of the 2012 Porsche 911 Cabrio was where to launch it: the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It was a no-brainer for the Germany-based automaker because the United States loves the 911 Cabrio more than any other country, where sales have continue to surge. The all-new seventh generation is scheduled to hit the showrooms in the spring with almost 4 more inches in its wheel base, a lower overall height, and construction composed almost entirely of lightweight aluminum steel composite. Prospective owners have their choice of either a 3.4 liter or 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine that is capable of pumping out 350-horsepower or 400-horsepower, respectively, through a first of its kind seven-speed automatic or manual transmission. Introducing the Big Bang edition for Kobe Bryant‘s new Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme, one with the entire galaxy superimposed on its upper and interior. On icy translucent outsoles, a series of black leather accents create the sneaker’s outline and definition. Donned with a special “snake and globe” space mission patch on its heel panel and a matching removable insole system, there are suggestions that these will be Kobe Bryant’s sneakers for the NBA All-Star Game in February. Known as “The Street Culture Bible”, the ALL GONE book is the annual recap of what’s best from 2011 – including nearly 200 products from hundreds of brands around the world. Compiled by Paris-based La MJC, the first looks at the book’s cover were just released in preparation for the wider launch of the book’s dedicated site (www.allgonebook.com) and their world tour throughout Europe, America and Asia. The cover design comes in two colorways, a vibrant leopard print and a gray alternative, a decision inspired by the pattern’s wide use throughout the past year. Inside are over 200 pages full of photographs from people from all walks of life and the products they’ve made popular.
