RANSOM and adidas Originals are starting 2012 with some new drops, including this Chase-PRS. The latest offering is a tall, 7-hole boots that blends military and hiking boot styles. Its toes section is finished off in a moccasin style and the Sand colored uppers are made from high quality suede leather material. Mesh inner lining offers warmth and breathability, a perfect feature for the current cold climate. Bone colored soles are stitched onto the boots using black welts and the signature RANSOM logo on the heel completes the footwear. The Tanker is an iconic series from PORTER that debuted in 1983 and its inspiration comes from the MA-1 flight jacket. This series is still very popular today and here we take a look at the latest Day Pack to get the Tanker treatment. An all black exterior is made from three layers of synthetic materials for durability. On the exterior a nylon twill fabric sandwiches polyester cotton material in between nylon taffeta on the interior. Rescue Orange lining is also another of its iconic trademark, referencing the MA-1 jacket. This day pack also comes equipped with a matching pouch that can fit digital cameras, electronic gadgets or smart phones. B Jirushi Yoshida online shop in Japan is stocking this item right now.

adidas Originals is launching two new colorways of the classic ZX500 runners for the Spring/Summer 2012 season. It is hard to believe that these sneakers are almost 30 years old, a testament to the great designers who created this timeless footwear. The two contrasting color schemes are currently available, taking inspiration from the original ZX500 models. There is the brightly colored White/Light Scarlet and the darker sibling in Black/Super Cyan combination. Both sneakers are made up of suede leather and mesh on its uppers, complete with plastic lace loops. Find these sneakers at end clothing or at adidas Orignals dealers nationwide. End Clothing

Just last month, we posted a video of Ken Gushi drifting in the new Scion FR-S. Now, Scion Racing has unveiled their drift car in Detroit, which was built in partnership with GReddy, an aftermarket performance parts giant. The details on the specs are still scarce, yet we know that Gushi will be taking this vehicle into the 2012 Formula DRIFT series in the hopes of snatching up titles. All of the interior has been stripped off, apart from the bare essentials and welded roll cage strengthen the whole chassis. Large rear wing should create enough down force and front canards will increase aerodynamics. It is estimated that this FR-S should be pushing around 600 horsepower, which should be more than enough for Gushi. Check out more detailed photos after the jump. via: autoblog

The Spring 2012 Ransom by adidas Originals collection sees a new addition to the brand’s lineup in the form of the Army Trainer Mid. Inspired by heritage military footwear, the high-top sneaker features a tastefully understated design dressed with a suede upper and reinforced with calf leather at the white toe cap and tonal heel panel. The shoe is built atop a vulcanized sole and comes in three colorways: green, beige and black. A video introducing the new model was shot in the historic Casco Viejo district of Panama. Neighborhood puts its unique spin on the maritime relic and modern wardrobe classic, the pea coat. Following stops in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, Thrasher’s King of the Road video series checks in with the Lakai team as they travel through Portland and Reno. Guy Mariano, Daniel Espinoza, Mike Mo Capaldi, Vincent Alvarez and Sam Smyth make up the roster, a road-hardened crew ready to face any challenge they’re presented with, whether it’s getting a hug from a Juggalo, making out with a Juggalette, decorating the van, or the daunting “Lt. With collaborative partnerships ranging from A.P.C. to Adam Kimmel to Burton, American workwear label Carhartt has demonstrated a willingness to extend its reach to menswear and action sports. The company continues the trend with an upcoming double-branded project with New York-based 5boro, manufacturer of skateboards and skate apparel. Recently spotted at the Agenda Long Beach trade show is this 5boro x Carhartt Workers Jacket, crafted from ripstop canvas and featuring patch pockets, branding at the left chest and interior artwork.
