| Beauty & Youth x Rimowa x Liberty – Luggage Collection Posted: 21 Dec 2011 06:00 AM PST German luggage maker Rimowa was established in 1898 and they launched its iconic aluminum trunk case in 1937. The evolution of their luggage lead them to using polycarbonate material in the new millennium, resulting in a lightweight and durable case for travelers. Japanese fashion label Beauty & Youth took the classic luggage designs and revamped them by adding a Liberty printed fabrics on its interior. This is the first time Liberty fabrics were used on any Rimowa products, although the safari inspired print works well with the beige and black exterior. Three sizes of the Salsa cases are available in 35L, 63L and 82L, and delivery of the cases are scheduled for mid February 2012. United Arrows online store on ZOZOTOWN is accepting pre-orders right now.

| Posted: 21 Dec 2011 05:00 AM PST Little details are known about this Lexus LF-Lc concept car, however we have some sneak preview of the slick sports car. The aggressive face shows a resemblance to the LFA and the Lexus GS, sleek triangular headlights are paired on the side of a large hour glass shaped front grille. Elongated, aerodynamic hood draws a line straight out to the cabin of the coupe, then widening out at the rear. Huge five spoke rims wear wide, low profile tires and these would serve to help translate the power onto the ground. If this concept design is anything to go by, Lexus is well on its way to making jaws drop at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. via: autoblog

| SE Bikes – Woodward West | Video Posted: 21 Dec 2011 04:00 AM PST SE Bikes have been putting in a lot of energy on the fixed gear bicycle segment, in particular they have concentrated to cater for the fixed gear freestyle, aka FGFS, category of the culture. SE Bikes sponsored riders Josh Boothby and DJ Mull took to the Woodward West park to test ride the newly developed Showtime trick frame. Boothby now joins the ranks of a select few fixed gear riders who can land a backflip, thanks to the help of their BMX rider and team manager Kris Fox. Watch what else the crew got up to at Woodward West in the full video after the jump.

| Star Wars by Evian Concept | By Mandy Brencys Posted: 21 Dec 2011 03:00 AM PST If watching the complete Star Wars saga on Blu-ray has taught us anything, it’s that the classic films’ beloved characters would look great as design concepts on special bottles of Evian water. Fortunately for us, art student Mandy Brencys took the fanciful notion and made it into reality by actually designing glass bottles of Evian to resemble C-3P0, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper. Part of a student design project, these Evian bottles sadly won’t be coming to a store near you, nor to ones in galaxies far, far away. We just hope Mandy’s instructors at Hamburg’s Miami Ad School gave her extra points for not including any characters from the prequel trilogy.

| Posted: 21 Dec 2011 02:00 AM PST Craig Costello is the man behind the KRINK brand, which is responsible for those familiar drips you see on the streets. It is probably not over exaggerating to comment that Costello was responsible for bringing out the drip style to the masses. VICE caught up with the artist to share his views on his art and how he evolved from a graffiti writer to a contemporary artist. He also gives us an insight about his childhood growing up in Queens, to his life in San Francisco where he studied photography. Apart from the interview, the video showcases his latest exhibition at Loft In Space in Hawaii, where he is working on several large installations and murals with his famous fire extinguishers. Check out the full interview after the jump to learn a little more about Costello and KRINK.

| Posted: 21 Dec 2011 12:00 AM PST Montana Colors envisions a day when all bombs are made of paint. Per the company’s manifesto, the paint bomb is a subversive yet inoffensive weapon that can express war in a non-violent way, but also the longing for peace. To underscore the point, the Barcelona-based paint company introduces a special edition high-pressure 400 ml spray can designed to look like a stick of TNT. They’re available in seven basic colors, with 7% of sales from the T.N.T. spray paint sets going to humanitarian and environmental organizations. Check out a promo video for the T.N.T. by Montana Colors after the click.

| Nike Kobe VII System Supreme – Del Sol | Detailed Look Posted: 20 Dec 2011 09:30 PM PST With the NBA season poised to start in just a matter of days the outlook for the Lakers — and Kobe Bryant in particular — looks unpromising, if not outright grim. Aside from the failed Chris Paul trade that had the league’s best point guard settling in with the Clippers just down the hall at the Staples Center, there’s a new coach to contend with, along with a new offensive system to learn, and team chemistry in seeming shambles. Kobe himself is taking his weary 33-year-old body into its sixteenth season, with basketball mileage clocking in at an impressive 40,145 career minutes (Kobe was just 17 when he entered the league in 1997), not to mention the mental and emotional strain of an impending divorce. And though the Lakers appeared sluggish in their loss to the Clippers in a preseason game this past Monday, it would be foolish to count the Black Mamba out, and premature to coronate Chris Paul and Blake Griffin as L.A.’s preeminent basketball heroes. After all, Kobe’s the one with five NBA championships rings, numerous individual scoring accolades and a new signature sneaker from Nike that’s so advanced it's called the Kobe VII System Supreme. The “system” refers to two types of inserts, one that’s built for a speed-based style of play, the other offering extra stability and cushioning for a strong interior game. Dressed in an appealing Del Sol colorway, the shoe is scheduled to drop December 22nd at Nike retailers like Encino’s Primitive. Primitive Release Date: December 22nd, 2011 (Thursday) | 11 am PST

| Dover Street Market Ginza – To Open March 2012 Posted: 20 Dec 2011 08:51 PM PST Fashionistas in Tokyo will have something to rejoice about come this March. Dover Street Market, the hugely popular retail concept by fashion designer Rei Kawakubo and her advent-garde label COMME des GARÇONS, is finally coming to Tokyo. Surprising, the new store will not be at the expected shopping district along the eastern part of Tokyo, where you have familiar neighborhoods like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Omotesando, Aoyama, and Harajuku. Instead, COMME des GARÇONS will take advantage of the newly revamped Ginza Komatsu Department Store in Ginza on the western side of the city. Taking up approximately 6 floors of the West Wing, the new store be in good company with the world’s largest UNIQLO flagship right next door. And like its mammoth neighbor, Dover Street Market Ginza is also set to open on March 16th, 2012.
