It gives us the opportunity to layer up and wear heavy jackets and coats we have been looking forward to throw on our backs. | Posted: 23 Dec 2011 04:00 AM PST A new rendition of the classic Skytop has unveiled from Supra, taking influence from rugged work boots. Aptly named the Skymoc, this boot-like sneaker features heavy duty moccasin stitching on its toe box. Two-toned round laces, metal eyelets and unlined raw leather interior all work together to emphasize the theme further. The exterior is constructed from black and burgundy full grain leather and each pair is wrapped in a crepe textured, white foxing on the midsoles. Supra have partnered with Pick Your Shoes to launch these sneakers and US fans should hit up the online shop of Pick Your Shoes and Supra right now.

| Stussy – Old Skool Holiday Mix by Jules Gayton Posted: 23 Dec 2011 03:00 AM PST Christmas is only couple of days away now and Stussy have a musical treat for all of us, courtesy of Stussy Tribe member Jules Gayton, aka DJ Jules. This mixtape was first released around this time in 1998/99 with the mix created the old school way, only by using vinyl. It just goes to show that good music does not age at all and Stussy is reviving the mixtape as an Old Skool Holiday Mix for your listening pleasure. The almost one hour long mix features a great blend of soul, funk, reggae and hip hop, all in the theme of Christmas. So spread the spirit of Christmas by playing this out loud or sharing it with your friends and family.

After dropping numerous colorful versions of the adidas EQT’s this year, adidas is turning down the tones into a one digestible grey monotone. These sneakers are dubbed Ghost Grey, and it is as easy on the eyes as it is to coordinate. A combination of mesh, synthetics and plastics also provide plenty of textural play on this classic running shoes. | Jordan Brand – Chrismas Edition Sneakers Posted: 23 Dec 2011 12:30 AM PST With all the back and forth of the lockout behind them, the NBA will be rewarding its fans with five nationally televised games to unwrap throughout Christmas Day to kick-off the season. To add to all the holiday cheer, Melo, CP3 and D Wade will also be sporting Christmas-themed versions of their signature kicks. Jordan Brand‘s Carmelo Anthony will be debuting his Melo M8′s that feature a green patent leather nubuck upper and orange laces, mesh tongue and Jumpman, which will nicely match his Knicks’ green holiday uniforms. D Wade‘s Jordan Fly Wade 2 sneakers are a bit more familiar considering the only change is a switch-out of the white laces for green; the complete red leather upper and white logo, inner and outsole match his original. Chris Paul‘s are a blend of the two with red working its way up the upper eventually flipping to green as it continues on throughout the inner. Check out the holiday trio all together after the jump.

The company has partnered with Gucci – an industry leader of a different sort — on a pair of bicycle models designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini. It’s a collaboration that makes more sense than one would initially think. As Giannini explains, “Ever since Gucci’s founding, traveling in style has been at the heart of the house’s designs.” In this case, those designs take the form of two bicycles built for two different types of rides, both adorned with Gucci’s signature green/red/green web stripe. One is a single-speed road bike made with white hydro-formed steel with custom brown leather grips and saddle. The other has a matte black carbon fiber frame and disc brakes, perfect for off-roading or rugged city streets. The concept of traveling in style is completed with matching accessories made up of helmet, gloves and water bottle. The Bianchi by Gucci bicycles are available at select Gucci boutiques worldwide, as well as the Bianchi Cafe & Cycles concept store in Stockholm.

| Lazareth Wazuma V8F – Powered By Ferrari | The World’s Most Expensive Quad Posted: 22 Dec 2011 09:00 PM PST Lazareth is a French company that designs and builds custom vehicles on two, three and four wheels. Their creations exhibit a flair for the dramatic, like their special one-off Wazuma V8F, which is essentially a quad bike with a Ferrari engine. Dramatic? Some might say ludicrous. The V8F is in reality more trike than quad, thanks to its narrow rear wheel placement. Either way, the feature that will grab most people’s attention is the 3.0-liter Ferrari V8 (likely taken from a Ferrari 308) delivering 250 horsepower and mated to a BMW M3 sequential gearbox. Two fuel injection systems from Yamaha sport motorcycles and a set of 12.8-inch Brembo brakes later, and you have the recipe for a very unique thrill ride on four wheels — and possible grave bodily injury. Part of the brand’s Quickstrike apparel line, the double-breasted hooded peacoat is crafted from warm melton wool and features a number of unique details: exterior leather piping at the back and cuffs, waffle pattern lining, waterproof zippers borrowed from the NSW line at the front pockets, foldover rib knit cuffs and button closure combined with zip front for extra protection against wind. Branding is limited to a tonal embroidered Swoosh on the sleeve. | Air Jordan 11 Concord – Release Reminder Posted: 22 Dec 2011 07:00 PM PST Sneaker enthusiasts throughout the land are gifting themselves an early Christmas present tonight and early tomorrow with the most anticipated sneaker release of the year. Of course, we’re referring to the Air Jordan 11 Concord, a shoe steeped in Michael Jordan lore, as they were the kicks His Airness would wear upon his return to the NBA during the 1995 playoffs following a brief retirement (and an ultimately unsuccessful attempt at a baseball career). Design notes like the shiny black patent leather mudguard and translucent sole made the shoe a sensation as soon as Michael stepped on the court. That they weren’t anywhere near the production stage and furthermore represented an NBA dress code violation that resulted in MJ’s being fined $5,000 just added to the legend. That legend continues tonight, when hordes of online shoppers will migrate to Web outlets like Nikestore.com at 12 am ET — along with those waiting in line right now — to fulfill their ultimate Christmas wish list with a piece of NBA history, not to mention a singularly attractive pair of sneakers.
