| Levi Maestro x VANS Vault Old Skool Decon 77 Launch at UNDFTD | Los Angeles Posted: 06 Jan 2012 04:00 AM PST From this weekend, Levi Maestro will be going on a America-wide tour dropping by thirteen cities in total, starting from the West Coast and ending up in the East Coast. The tour actually starts today in San Francisco and Levi will be heading to UNDFTD in Los Angeles tomorrow where a launch party for the Levi Maestro x VANS Vault Old Skool Decon 77 will be held. You will be able to catch up with him at the launch and enjoy some nice snacks provided by Kogi BBQ. The launch will commence at 7pm and will be going on until 9pm, so be sure to drop by if you are in the neighborhood. Check after the jump for more information regarding the rest of the tour dates. | Joel Lim – Boys and their Toys Exhibition | Singapore Posted: 06 Jan 2012 02:00 AM PST Renowned fashion photographer Joel Lim is getting ready to open his first ever solo exhibition at FLABSLAB in Singapore entitled Boys and their Toys. Lim took the prestigious title of ELLE Photographer of the Year in 2010 and have been working alongside a vast clientele. His latest exhibition takes a seemingly unrelated subjects and combines them together to create a limited edition calender-book. The exhibition centers around female nudity and designer toys, aiming to promote acceptance. | Canon G1X – New Flagship Compact Digital Camera | Teaser Posted: 05 Jan 2012 08:13 PM PST Because it is their job to know a company inside and out, investment analysts tend to get “heads up” on products yet to be available to the general public. So on the cusp of The International Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, in Las Vegas this month, analysts at Well Fargo Advisors leaked out specification of a new flagship compact digital camera for Canon. Billed as the Canon G1X, the camera is to have a 28-112mm zoom lens with an aperture of f/2.5. Like many top-of-the-line compact cameras today, the G1X will also enable RAW file format and 1080p HD video recording. The most intriguing part though is its image processor, which might be the newest Canon DIGIC 5, and a 1.5-inch 14.3 megapixel sensor, quite large for a compact. But nothing is for certain till the official announcement. CES is to take place starting next Tuesday, January 10th, to Friday, January 13th. via: The Verge

| IN4MATION x VANS Chukka Low – “Rattles” Posted: 05 Jan 2012 06:00 PM PST A warning for those suffering from extreme ophidiophobia, do not continue on with this article… Dubbed as the “Rattles”, this snakeskin patterned Chukka Low is the most recent collaborative project between VANS and Hawaii’s own IN4MATION. Aside for the white vulcanized sole and simple laces, also in white, its “all snake” or leather imprinted with a realistic snake print. Limited to only 200 pairs, this special edition will be available exclusively through IN4MATION newest retail location, THE HUMAN IMAGINATION, at the heart of Honolulu’s Chinatown, and its online shop on Friday the 13th (January 13th). | THRASHER: King of the Road 2011 – With VANS Part 2 | Video Posted: 05 Jan 2012 05:00 PM PST Thrasher’s King of the Road series bids farewell to Sin City and the Nike SB team to rendezvous with the crew from VANS in Salt Lake City. The cast of characters: Elijah Berle, Gilbert Crockett, Daniel Lutheran, Tony Trujillo and Johnny Layton. The list of harrowing, bone-chilling challenges include: dropping 10 feet off the roof of a van onto a bank (you can see the fear in Tony Trujillo’s eyes), surviving a rail in a steady downpour, finding a Mormon missionary who can Ollie and making out with a woman over 40 (you can see the fear in Daniel Lutheran’s eyes). A bit early for April showers but the Tokyo boutique already launched its Spring 2012 Outerwear Collection. With all of his working knowledge from the formulation of The North Face Purple Label, which he’s the Creative Director of, Homma deftly reapplied Gore-Tex fabrics onto two Soutien Collar Coats, trench coats with subtle similarities to the famous Mackintosh outerwear. In vibrant yellow and eye-catching black/white gingham checks, the coats will only be available at nanamica retail locations in Tokyo, Kobe, Fukuoka, and its own online store.
