It elegantly combines the classic Ivy style blazer silhouette with technical fabric from Gore-Tex. On the outer layer, the fabric is made from 100% cotton to preserve its soft, natural texture while a 100% nylon material is used on the interior to provide water resistance. The buttoned front opening hides a full zip closure underneath, making sure water and wind does not get through. Detachable hood is also secured using zippers all around, equipped with a mouth guard as well. It is truly an all round jacket that can be worn for formal occasions and hiking in the woods. If not, you may want to hold onto something once you get a look at the newly unvieled XVT 3D Cineawide TV by Vizio, which actually delivers theater-style 21:9 aspect display using a monster 72-inch 480Hz LCD. The 2560 x 1080 passive 3D HD display is made of a new anti-reflective material that prevents nearby light or those annoying black bars from ruining your viewing experience. And when you’re not being blown away by the XVT’s ability to bring the theater to your living room, the built-in Apps put top internet and online services at your fingertips, including Hulu Plus, Facebook, Flicker, Netflix, Pandora, Twitter and Yahoo!. The 72-inch Vizio XVT 3D is set to hit stores later this year along with models in two other sizes, 50 and 58 inches, each with a QWERTY keyboard integrated into the universal remote control.

Neon colors and bold graphics took the center stage in those era, a pivotal time period for skateboarding as well as fashion that accompanied it. VANS are launching three versions of Authentic models, clad in custom designed speckle patterns. There is the turquoise, gray and pink colorways, detailed with matte black eyelets and matching two-tone shoe laces. Contrasting VANS flag tag can be found on the side of the sneakers, referring back to the 80′s theme. | VANS OTW Stovepipe – Spring 2012 Posted: 13 Jan 2012 01:00 AM PST Vans OTW is set to release their new Stovepipe sneaker for its Spring 2012 line-up, offering a minimalist, but progressive deconstructed look to their already diverse collection. The mid-height Stovepipe sits atop a slimmer vulcanized outsole and utilizes a unique hidden, or gillie, lacing system for a clean profile. Debuting in three different colorways - white canvas, grey hazybuck, and black savannah leather – the Stovepipe also features a full-length EVA midsole keeping the shoe light and comfortable. | Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible – 60th Anniversary Package Posted: 13 Jan 2012 12:00 AM PST In 1953 Chevrolet rolled out its first sports car. Built by hand and named after small fighting ship, the Corvette was an instant classic. The automaker is set to celebrate the car’s 60th birthday with a special edition 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible. The engine, a 427-cubic inch LS7 V8 good for 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, is taken from the Corvette Z06 and makes the 427 the fastest Corvette Convertible ever made. It also borrows the driveline, rear axle and latest-generation Magnetic Selective Ride Control from the Z06. Similarly, six-speed manual is the only transmission option. Carbon fiber components at the raised hood, fender and floor panels help to lower the curb weight to 3,355 pounds and enable the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of over 190 mph. Finally, in honor of the 60-year milestone, Chevrolet is offering a special 60th Anniversary Package for all 2013 Corvettes. The package includes Arctic White paint, Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior, ZR1-style rear spoiler, gray-painted brake calipers and special badging. The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible will make its public debut at the Barrett Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 21st. via: Autoblog

All three mid-styled boots feature waterproof construction as well as superior comfort, thanks to an EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and shock absorption. A rubber Vibram sole is good for traction on any surface, while the classic silhouette allows for ease of wear on the trail or city street. The latest such collaboration finds Stussy Japan teaming up with Dutch artist Parra on a capsule collection made up four graphic T-shirts: “Building Blocks,” “S.O.S.,” “Big Ballers” and “Worldwide.” The distinctive artwork, reminiscent of oversized comic panels, covers the front of each tee and is representative of Parra’s signature style, featuring bright colors, hand drawn lettering and bold, curving lines.
